You’re overwhelmed. Your mornings feel rushed. You have trouble finding things.
You know you need better systems - maybe you’ve even tried to get organized on your own with advice you’ve read online, or a checklist. Nothing has stuck for you. At least, not yet.
You might even feel embarrassed that you can’t “get it together” on your own.
That’s where we step in. No shame. No judgement. We’ve seen it all- Promise!
Step 1: When you reach out to us for help, the first step is understanding what your needs and priorities are. We ask a lot of questions. We can chat on the phone, or have an email or text exchange. We discuss your home’s habits, what works, what doesn’t, and where your biggest pain points are. Often, we request photos to get a better grip on your current state. And, what you want the end result to be. Some people want Pinterest perfect closets. Some just want to make sure they can find their keys without wasting time. Some people can pull 20 things to donate out of their closet in a second, others require 20 minutes to decide what to toss.
Step 2: Based off the conversation, we’ll make a recommendation for a booking. By the hour pricing provides the best value for people who are decisive, and/or have a bunch of small projects to complete - like “junk” drawers, one pantry, entryway closets. By the day is usually best for a whole room that needs reworking like a primary bedroom and closet, or a kitchen. If you have multiple rooms to reset, a multi-day rate is the best value. Ultimately, you decide what works within your budget. We pick dates that work best for us both.
Step 3: We’ll send you a contract to review, and a deposit request.
What to Expect
About Organizing Products
Bins. Baskets. Turntables. Storage cubes. Vacuum bags. Totes. Helpful? Usually. Required? Never.
While discussing ideas, we often make purchase recommendations. We can send links for you to purchase on your own and in some cases can pick things up for you along the way. We’ll always respect your budget and what your priorities are.
On Project Day
We come prepared with measuring tape, some basic tools, a handheld vacuum, some microfibre cloths, label maker, markers, tape and heavy-duty garbage bags.
We always focus on one space at a time.
Pulling everything out can be visually overwhelming and it almost always looks worse before it looks better. Please trust in the process; we never leave anyone with a huge mess at the end of a workday.
The last 15-45 min of the day should be to focus on what we’ve accomplished, what to expect for the next session (any challenges with logistics) and packing away garbage, recycling, donations and junk hauling if need be.
